The ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conference and the Computer and Information in Engineering Conference (IDETC/CIE 2016) is the world's leading research conference in mechanical engineering. IDETC/CIE 2016 consists of 11 conferences including The 40th Mechanisms and Robotics Conference.
Dr Xianwen Kong from Heriot-Watt serves as the Programme Chair for IDETC/CIE 2016. The ASME Student Mechanism and Robot Design Competition at this conference is closely related to the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics students' activities. To attend the competition, a letter of intent should be submitted by 1 April.
