Prof. Timothy Hospedales

Timothy is a Professor and Personal Chair of Artificial Intelligence at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh where he heads the Machine Intelligence Group. Timothy’s research focuses on learning-to-learn or meta-learning in various forms for data-efficient, robust, and interpretable machine learning. Application areas include computer vision, language and reinforcement learning. Previously he was senior lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, and PhD student with Sethu Vijayakumar’s SLMC lab in Edinburgh.
