Dr. Hakan Bilen

Dr. Hakan Bilen is a lecturer in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, where he is also a member of the Institute for Perception, Action and Behaviour and leading the Visual Computing Group (VICO). He is broadly interested in computer vision and machine learning with an emphasis on on weakly supervised and unsupervised learning, 3D understanding, multi-task learning, action and object recognition.  Previously he has been a postdoc in Visual Geometry Group at the University of Oxford and received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at the KU Leuven in Belgium.
