Topic: Agriculture Robotics in Australia: from R&D to Commercialisation.
Abstract: This presentation will look at the R&D activity in Ag robotics at the ACFR over the last 15 years and its application to improving agriculture productivity. The presentation will discuss the research and challenges in air and ground robotics in agriculture, the operational trials conducted across Australia, and the challenges in commercialisation of the technology.
Bio: Salah Sukkarieh is the Professor of Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the University of Sydney and the CEO of Agerris (an ag robotics startup)
