Research project title:
Spasticity Assessment and Treatment Using a Hand Exoskeleton
Research project:
The aim of this project is to design and build a hand exoskeleton that can assess and treat patients that suffer from hand spasticity. This is done by using the Tardieu scale for assessing spasticity, this is usually accomplished using a physiotherapist but can be done using an exoskeleton and force sensors.
About me:
I am a first year PhD at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics under the supervision of Doctor Mustafa Suphi Erden , I hold a Meng in Electrical Engineering from Heriot Watt University, My main interests are in exoskeletons and agriculture based robotic applications.
