Dr. Chris Lu

Dr Chris Lu is a Lecturer in Cyber-Physical Systems in the School of Informatics at The University of Edinburgh. His research leverages cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision approaches to design effective SLAM and scene understanding solutions to mobile robotics.

Prior to Edinburgh, Dr. Lu did both his PhD study and post-doctoral research in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford. His PhD study was generously funded by Google DeepMind. Prior to Oxford, he received his MEng degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
